How to create your own run commands in Windows:

Hi friends today I will tell you how to create your own run commands in windows.

It is not possible to keep icons of all programs and documents on the desktop. Run command is one of the great and default function in the Windows OS, this helps us to open any program or application instantly with a command instead of clicking several icons to open a program.

Own Run CommandFollow the below steps to create your own RUN command in Windows.

Step 1: Create a shortcut for the program or file for which you need to create a RUN command.

Here I am creating a custom Run command for Team Viewer.

Create a short cut for Teams Viewer.

Right Click on your computer desktop and select New->Short Cut.

Own Run Command7Click on Browse and choose path of your program.

Own Run Command1Here I am creating Run command for Team Viewer i.e location of team viewer in my computer is C:\Program Files\TeamViewer\Version8\TeamViewer.exe

Own Run Command2Click on Next.

Provide the Name for shortcut ( Give any shortcut name, For TeamViewer i am using TV) and click on Finish.

Own Run Command3A shortcut will be created in your system as shown below.

Own Run Command4Step 2: Go to C:\Windows, cut and paste the newly created shortcut to that folder (make sure that you are the admin of that computer otherwise you need admin password to do this).

Then it will ask for the permissions to move the folder, click on continue.

Now you can Run your application from Run by the command TV.


Open Run(press Windows+R) Type TV and press enter button, then teamviewer application will open in your system.
